July’s Featured Titles: Post-Apocalyptic and Scary-Futuristic Lit
This month at the Bean we are featuring the likes of Cormac McCarthy, Jose Saramago, Doris Lessing and Margaret Atwood as they navigate nuclear wastelands, cannibals, and pandemics, armed only with a pistol and tin cans and bemoaning the loss of Oryx and Crake. Cheery stuff.
It’s great that you’re hosting Artists on Vinyl. It’s one of the more interesting fundraisers the city has to offer.
Thanks – I’m really looking forward to it. Two parties in one week plus an art show. What’s better than that.
